Located in the heart of Hoover, Alabama, Hoover Sports Park Central is just a short drive away from Birmingham. This makes it the perfect place to come and watch your favorite team play or compete in a game yourself. The park features 6 softball fields, 2 football fields, and a running track. Hoover park is also home to the softball program for girls, so you can get your competitive fix here.
Two more playgrounds, one for tots and another for bigger kids, were added in the fall of 2014. A new spray-ground water feature will keep everyone cool during the hot summer days. The park also has a pavilion that can be rented out for special events. There is also a concession stand so you can grab a bite to eat while you’re here. After a long day of playing and sweating, you can head over to the on-site locker rooms to shower and change.
There is also a press box that allows for local games to be broadcasted. This is a great way to support your local teams and get involved in the community.
